Film Producers, Deon and Roxanne Taylor, Chat on Film Industry
The LA Film School in Los Angeles was a full house on the evening of Friday, November 30. Industry professionals along with students participated in the NAACP screening of the film, Traffik.
The evening began with a cocktail area which featured some photo booth fun, complimentary concessions and red carpet opps. Following the social hour, the screening started at 7 p.m. which was then followed by a question and answer session with the writer and producer of Traffik.
Traffik was written and directed by Deon Taylor and produced by Roxanne Taylor.
Immediately following the NAACP screening, the floor was opened by moderator Stephanie Elam of CNN. Elam led the interview session before taking questions from the audience.
With the NAACP having a heavy stance on civil issues, Traffik was the perfect film addition to their NAACP Image Awards screening sessions. The film deals with human traffiking which is critical issue in the United States. It is an issue that is going on in every metropolitan city.
