Joy in My Tears
Eyes leak in pain, teardrops filled with disdain, breathing in and out, never to be the same. Heart break and heartache, how much can you take, before the walls come crashing down for heavens sake.
Weeping endures for the night but tomorrow there will be joy, no need to be coy, don’t want to annoy. Tears that wash and mend, a deep soul cleanse. Looking for your healing my friend, no need to pretend…just want it to end. Healing seems spotty at first, like a cool drink of water surrounded by desert thirst.
Hearts are not made of steel, just keeping it real. They are designed to feel every beat of compassion, vulnerability and fear, just want someone near, wipe dry those tears. You need Jesus to take the wheel, so let go and let Him steer. He knows the power within, just let Him in. If you pause and be still, your healing will begin.
New ways, brighter days…foundational ground lays…a pathway towards happiness and peace. No frustration, no not in the least. Anger dissipates, sorrows cease, can’t steal my joy, my self-worth has increased.
